Default xB Problems

So i've had my xb about 8 months and i'm troubled by some of the issues i'm having. My backdoor creaks, which I oiled. My driver side door lock keyless entry works about 80% of the time, the rest will open, but this one sticks. When I get in and sit down in the driver seat it almost sounds like one of the floor bolts is loose and the seat shimmies down the bolt to sit properly on the floor. and finally I have a heavy odor of antifreeze, which I brought in but could not be traced.

Thats my sad story. anyone else in a similar boat? or should I say box?

Sound like the door is going to be the whole actuator (same problem with a 93 MR2) prolly $80

i have no idea about the creeking but if your seat feels loose get those ratchets out and tighten them down, if it comes back take it in for stripped bolts.

Sorry i have no clue about the radiator.

I had a antifreeze smell also. My Xb is in the shop for same thing as we speak. I wanted it checked out. The fluid level did not show anything. Everything looked clean under hood. I just turned 3000 miles on mine. I love my Xb. I am very proud of it.
I am sure my dealership will find issue. They are changing oil and checking it out.

I have the antifreeze smell also. I think it is the heater core. Fords are known for this. There isn't a leak but somehow when the car is warm there is an odor exchange in the heater assembly that makes it way into the ventilation system. Remember it only takes a tiny amount of of antifreeze burn off to produce an odor, even outside the car. If you are not losing any coolant though you are fine.
